Our assessors

The People Who Walk Your Building

All three of SeeForth's assessors hold the NSA Level 6 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment, the highest individual standard in the UK. Under section 156 of the Building Safety Act their names go on your report, so you can show an enforcing authority who did the work and what qualified them to do it.

Level 6, Explained in Plain English

Fire risk assessor qualifications run from Level 2 to Level 6. Most of the market works at Level 3 or 4. The NSA Level 6 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment is the highest individual qualification available for this work, assessed to degree standard, and it is the level all three of our assessors hold. It does not make a building safer by itself. It does mean the person walking your building has been examined on the judgement calls that matter: compartmentation, evacuation strategy, what is proportionate and what is not. Warwick Theophane and Raphael Whitmore are also registered with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).

Independent Reports, Then Help to Act

Every assessment is independent. The report is written before any works are discussed, so you get an accurate picture of the building rather than a pitch for follow-on work. Where the action plan raises maintenance issues, we help you scope and prioritise them, tell you what to fix first and who to use, and the works can be handled through SeeForth planned maintenance so you have one accountable partner from assessment to compliance.

Where We Work

London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridge, with Bedfordshire and Suffolk covered by the assessor nearest to you. Our assessors are based in north London and Essex, which is why a 48-hour report is a promise rather than a hope.
